Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a skin lightening agent which also inhibits protease and stops melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. This synthetic amino acid that functions as a skin conditioning agent also serves as an astringent and has proven effective action against UV-induced hyperpigmentation. Most importantly this is a stable form of vitamin C and an analog to L-Ascorbic acid that brightens skin and protects you against UV damage. Due to its lipid soluble nature, this is able to penetrate even deeper into the skin. Most importantly it is ideal for every skin type.
